Sprayground is a backpack brand that launched in 2010, and over the last few years has caught the attention of many young teens across the globe.
When you walk inside Coconut Creek High School, you see swarms of Sprayground backpacks with designs from large shark teeth to cartoon characters. We asked random Scholars what they thought was so fascinating about them.
“It has more pockets, it’s bigger, and it’s more comfortable to carry around than a Jansport,” said one Scholar we stopped in the 240 hallway.
The cost of a Sprayground backpack range from $65 to a whopping $175, but Scholars don’t seem to have an issue with that, since they are seen all over the school.
When asked if he would would get one or not, one Scholar had mixed feelings.
“The backpack is cute and has many varieties, but I wouldn’t get it because everybody else has one,” the Scholar said.
When Sprayground founder, David Ben-David, released his bookbags, he didn’t expect they would get as much attention as they do today. But if you decide to join the Sprayground Epidemic, don’t set your heart on one design; many are always sold out on the website.

"I took the word “Spray” from graffiti and the word “Ground” from underground street art. That’s kind of what inspired me to just put your expression onto a product. It doesn’t matter what it is as long as it feels good that it’s out. It looks good."
