Ms. Rogers’ students spent the week “living in a box” for education’s sake. 
As part of the Biome-In-A-Box project, students could pick from several environments and recreate them in a shoe box diarama. The end result offers a peek at different marine ecosystems. Choices for the project included Sandy Shore, Open Ocean, or Tropical Coral Reef among others.
Students were required to include six different species found in their chosen biome and six plant, alga or fungi species.
“I love them so much,” said Ms. Rogers’ about the end results. “I’m proud of my students’ ability to express themselves and what they learned from class.”
