Two recent Cougar Alumni have signed on the dotted line, scoring a touchdowns for the 2026 football season.
After starting his college career at Florida A&M, Erron Brown moves westward to East Texas A&M. He appeared in six games as a freshman, finishing with eight tackles and one sack. As a sophomore, Erron played in 14 games with 18 tackles, two sacks, and one pass defended.
James Hayes moves back to the Sunshine State at Florida A&M after his start at Alabama State. He helped lead the Cougars to a District Championship in 2023, throwing 23 touchdown passes. James redshirted freshman year, appearing in two games before a knee injury sidelined him in a game against Miles College. During his sophomore season, he played against Tuskegee, completing 5 of 6 passes for 41 yards.
